The Power of God

The Power of God is within you. This ancient truth is so important and significant to mankind. The concept is simple, but it is extremely difficult to accept the reality of these words.

If the Power of God is actually within us, and we could believe this were true, it completely changes the way we view ourselves. The human being becomes able to create and manifest a reality that is far beyond our current level of imagination. At our current level, we can only attempt to imagine a Power so incredible that it is able to create this magnificent universe. A universe that is essentially perfect. We are only now beginning to discover how perfect everything really is. From the very tiny subatomic particles to the huge galaxies filled with billions of stars, every aspect of our universe works in a perfect harmony. Even though we are getting better at being able to actually view many of the different aspects of this perfection, we still doubt that we could actually be a perfected part of this creation.

Is it possible that we are not perfect? God has created a perfect universe. We are part of this creation. Therefore we must be perfect. This is very logical, but does not appear to be reality.

Our Earth has been perfectly positioned in our solar system and all aspects of this world are perfectly balanced in order to nurture and sustain life as we know it. Our planet revolves around our sun perfectly. Our sun is in perfect harmony with all the other stars in our galaxy, just as every molecule in our body is in perfect harmony. If our basic cellular structure does not function perfectly, we cease to exist. And yet, we live. Therefore, we must be perfect. Every aspect of God's creation is perfect. As part of His creation, we must be perfect.

But many will argue that mankind is not perfect. Look around. It certainly appears that there is a great deal of imperfection in our current reality. Some may even argue that this proves that God is not perfect and has not created perfectly. This is not true, but is very confusing to the human mind. In fact, every human being is stuck in the reality that makes it seem as if they are not perfect. This illusion has been created and must be maintained in order for each one of us to learn something.

Each individual upon the Earth has chosen to be here at this point in time and space in order to learn certain lessons. The actualization of each lesson is usually complex and multidimensional, but the essential nature of each lesson is consistent. We are all here to discover who we are and why we are here. The path toward this discovery is always to go within to find the answers. Here, each one will find the truth, for the Power of God is there.

But this path towards self-discovery must involve different actions and decisions for each individual. God has created each one of us as a unique and special individual. Therefore, by definition, each one of us will create a unique path during our journey.

As each of us travel down our path, the most confusing part for many can be the fact that God has given us Free Will. We have the freedom to choose. God is perfect. God has created us, a perfect being within a perfect universe. However, we need to learn something. Therefore, we do not manifest our true reality, which would be a perfected self. Instead, we choose to create something else. Many of us get lost at this point because we forget why we are creating this version of reality. In fact, we do not even remember that we have chosen everything.

With every choice that is made, there is a consequence. Consequences must occur, because of the law of cause and effect. This law simply states that which is sent out returns to the sender always. This law teaches us because if we make an unwise choice, it will return to us. If we do not learn our lesson well enough, it will be repeated. We then find ourselves repeating the same thing, over and over again. If we do learn, we stop these repeated patterns and do not make that same unwise choice again.

Unfortunately, wisdom is not that path many of us have chosen, so this process may become difficult. In fact, the consequences of our choices have become so overwhelming that we have completely forgotten our true nature and purpose for being here. We become lost in this false reality and do not even realize that we are making a choice and that we have chosen every aspect of our current condition.

Despite this, change is possible. The first step in this change is to awaken. This is what is happening right now upon our planet. Many of us are beginning to experience that something is different. We are not quite sure what is happening, but we know that it is something BIG. The planet Earth is awakening, and therefore many wake-up calls are going out to make us aware.

As you awaken from your sleep, focus your attention and attempt to become more aware. Most of us, when we awaken from our night's sleep, tend to jump up and proceed into our daily routine without paying attention. Tomorrow, wake up and lie still. Listen. Feel. Focus your attention and attempt to become more aware of all of your senses. As your awareness increases, the world around you seems different. Reality seems to changed because you have changed inside. The fact is that reality is still the same. You are a perfected being living in a perfected universe. Things are now beginning to seem different because you are becoming more aware of true reality.

As we awaken to our truth, we must become more aware of our choices. Each time a choice if made, there must be a consequence. Sometimes, it is difficult to observe the choice we are making, however, the consequences are usually very apparent. Life is easy to observe. We see our parents, siblings, our position, our mate, our family, etc. Even though we may not like what we observe and may feel that our current situation is not our fault, it is important to realize that it is all freely chosen. Many try to blame others for the current situation, but it is wise to accept the fact that every aspect of life has been specifically created for each person in order for a particular lesson to be learned.

This is critical to understand. With a true awareness of the choices that have been made, it becomes possible to choose differently. A different choice could change the consequences and might create less difficulty in life. It is true that we must all learn our lessons here; however, it is not a requirement that our lessons be difficult. Each one of us has created our own reality. If it is difficult, we have made it difficult. Therefore, we can change it. If we continue to insist that it is someone or something outside of us causing our situation, then our problem can not be corrected.

Of course, the obvious question is "How?' How can I make different choices so that the problems are corrected? How can I do this and not make the same mistake again? The answer is simple. Align with God's Will. The reason that things have gotten so bad for us is that we have decided to align with our own will. It is true we have been given the gift of free will. It is true that we have the freedom to choose anything we desire. No matter how stupid our choice may be, no one has the right to take away our choice and the consequence that results. There is no power in heaven or earth that can change this, and God will not interfere.

However, because of all this, it is also true that we have the freedom to align all of our choices with God's Will. If we make this very important choice, everything is different.

God is perfect. All of God's choices are perfect. Therefore, alignment with God's Will must result in a perfect choice. This alignment process is the path towards remembering our perfected Self and realizing the truth. As we become better and better at alignment, our choices improve. We become more aware of our inner reality. As we go within, we begin to find the answers we are looking for. We are looking for the Truth.

The Truth is that the Power of God is within us.
