The Battle
The essence of the Battle is the struggle within each soul to return to the Oneness that is God. In the Beginning, God said, " Let There Be Light." And there was Light. We are that Light. We are One with the Most High Supreme God.
God gave each of us free will in this creation, allowing His children the freedom to choose. In order to learn, we have each chosen to separate ourselves from God as we have descended down into this physical reality. It is very important to realize that we have each used this God given free will to choose to be in our current situation.. While it is true that God loves us and all things are possible with God, our Creator will not take from us the Free will given. Instead, we each must choose to freely return to God and to realize our true nature and reality. This Battle to return to God is made difficult because of the free will decisions we have each made along the path.
As we know, many of the decisions we make in our life are not correct. We send out the unkind word or thought. We take actions against the children of our Father in Heaven which are wrong. We get caught up in our everyday existence and seem to completely forget that there is something more to life.
The negatives that we project out must return to us because of the great law of cause and effect. This law simply states: That which is sent out, returns to the sender, always. Since we have not been perfect in all ways, these difficulties return to us and are manifested in our existence. We observe these difficulties and make the mistake of interpreting that this is who we are.
Not liking what we see as ourselves, we stop loving ourselves and doubt that we could ever be anything that approached the perfection of God, the One. Of course, this is not true, but it is our reality.
The first step in winning the Battle is to deny this false reality of self and begin to love self in all capacities of self. This loving self principle is the key to bringing about all the changes needed to return to the Oneness of God.
For when you love self in your totality, you are as God, for he accepts you as you are and loves you in all degrees of what you are. Then each accepts you as you are and loves you as you are. With self love, all is possible.
