Spiritual
Warrior Children
As Spiritual Warriors, we have chosen to accept many responsibilities. One
of our most important roles is to assist the children. The children are the
future. The ones that have chosen to be born in this time are very, very
special. Often, they will show spiritual awareness and abilities at a very
young age. Our work is to assist each child to use their talents and gifts
in the most effective way, so that each will learn to create a positive reality.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child, you have agreed to a great responsibility
and opportunity. Even if you do not have children that are within your
care, you can still have a very positive influence. Because we are all
One, assisting one child will assist all children. For this reason, look
for opportunities to appear in which you can affect a child directly. You
may be surprised to find children coming to you. Pay attention and realize
that their need may have drawn them to you.
The current reality that we are experiencing in our world seems to show a great
deal of difficulty with the children. Because the young ones are so
spiritual, they are very sensitive and emotional. When negative situations
are created, the behavior we may observe might seem almost unbelievable. We
see very young children shooting at other very young children. The
violence and abuse seems to be getting worse, and we all wonder what can be
done. As a Spiritual Warrior, we KNOW we can change this.
First, all children must have Unconditional Love. It is vital that we all
share our Love with each and every child. Of course, in the future, we need to
create a reality in which we are all able to share our Love with everyone, but
we can start by focusing upon the young ones, because the emotional impact upon
a child is so significant. As the child grows and develops, sharing our
Unconditional Love with them will have a very powerful and positive affect.
How do I share Unconditional Love? How do I know if I am doing it
correctly? This can be a difficult question. The best answers can be found
by going within and turning to God.
In creating us, God has given us the capacity to Love and to be Loved. This is a
wonderful blessing. A young baby just being born into the world is a great
example of this. The infant loves All perfectly. Anyone that connects with
the newborn will feel this love and will return this love to them as well. This
is a very natural statement of true Unconditional Love. God has shown all of us
this Love by allowing us each to enter the world as children so that we can feel
and remember Him.
Each one of us has this memory of what True Love is, so that we have the
capacity to actually Love another Unconditionally. However, our current
reality shows that we are having trouble with this lesson. We see
difficulty in many relationships including problems between mates, with parents,
siblings, family, neighbors, communities and nations. When All of us learn
this lesson to Love All no matter what happens, things will change.
God has given us this capacity to Love and has given us children so that we
would learn and remember. The tiny infant can reawaken this within the adult. We
know that this tiny baby is helpless and innocent. We know how to Love
them no matter what behavior we see.
Learning Unconditional Love is a wonderful lesson. Using the child, God
shows us how to Love our self. Each one of us is a Child of God. Deep within
each of us, there is an Inner Child, that is waiting to be Loved and Nurtured as
God Loves us All. As you share your love with any child, you are assisting
your self, because you are Loving your own Inner Child.
Communication
Every child needs to know that they are loved. As we create positive
communication with a child, we share our Love and Light with them. Communication
with children is essential at all ages. If we can communicate effectively,
many of the so called problems we observe can be changed.
Communication can begin with a child at the very beginning. In fact, the
parents can begin to make a spiritual connection with the child even before it
is born. Many of us are aware that the actual process of birth actually
begins before conception. The Soul of the child may begin the process of
determining the parents long before this. We each decide which lessons we
need to learn within our new life and choose the parents that will be the most
effective for our lessons.
For this reason, parents can begin to meditate upon the birth of the child and
make a connection as soon as they determine that they would like to be parents.
During this, it is important to always ask for God's Will and God's
Timing. The mother and father can begin to make contact, talking to the
child and letting them know that they are receptive to them.
During pregnancy, meditation focused upon the child is very helpful. The
baby needs to know that they are wanted and loved. Also, this can help to
relieve some of the stress that may come because of the pregnancy. When the
child develops enough so that the movements can be felt, this communication can
become very difficult. The baby is able to confirm this spiritual
connection by actually moving during the process.
During the actual childbirth and soon after, the communication with the baby
continues to be important. The new infant has just experienced a
very traumatic situation, coming from the safety and security of the womb, to
the shock of our physical world. Just as prior to birth, the Spirit of the
child is very much aware of what is transpiring around them. Caring and
loving communication with them will be helpful as they develop. It is
important that the parents understand that all that they say, do, and think is
known at some level by the child.
As children develop and grow, communication continues to be vital. As
adults, we need to become more aware that children are always saying something
important. It does not always seem important to us, but it is always
important them. We must always listen to what they are saying, even if we
think it has no value. From the perspective of the child, they are saying
something that is meaningful. If we do not see their words as important,
then we need to pay closer attention.
Many times, parents put off talking to a child because they are too busy. The
young child will always want and need the parents attention, but as they mature,
they also become busy in their activities. Then it becomes the parents
responsibility to continue to communicate with them. If not, there can be
difficulties, and the parents can be very surprised to find their child in
trouble. For this reason, it is very important to maintain an open channel
of communication while the child is still open.
Young children are always close to God. When they are born, they have just
left the presence of God, and they can remember this. As they grow and
mature, they may begin to forget what is what like to be so close to God. It is
important for parents to remind them that God is always there and available.
They can always talk to God, and He will always listen.
God is not just there one day a week for a few hours in another building.
Instead, we need to show them that He is there each and every moment. Because
God has created us and everything else, it is not possible for God to not be
with us. The only way for us to THINK God is not there is for us to forget.
Each one of us is a Child of God. We were all young children once. We
have forgotten what is was like to be with God. As we remind our children
that God is always present, we will remember also. God has given us the
wonderful gift of children so that we would always remember that we are all One.
